Reiki Is a healing system which originates form Japan and is was developed by Dr Mikao Usui in the 19th Century. Whilst Usui was attending a spiritual retreat including fasting and prayer, he received his initiation to Reiki.
From this life changing experience, Usui developed the system of Reiki healing. Dr Usui initiated Dr Hayashi, who in turn initiated Mrs Takata. Mrs Takata is said to be the person responsible for introducing this technique to the western world.

Universal life force or “Chi” is channelled thought the therapists hands to the client. The energy received by the client helps activate the body’s own ability to heal itself and can work on physical, mental and spiritual levels.

Reiki energy can assist in many aspects of life, including healing situations; healing people, animals and plants. Reiki works on all levels: physical, mental and spiritual.

Reiki Level 1

Reiki is carried out by a Reiki Master who carries out a precise attunement procedure. The attunement changes the vibrationary level of the person being attuned and their aura. It is necessary to be attuned to Level 1 before completing Level 2.

Reiki Level 2

After receiving Level 1 attunement, it takes 21 days for the newly attuned person to have adjusted to the Reiki energy. After this, you will be ready to receive level 2 attunement by a Reiki Master. Here you learn Reiki symbols and methods of the use of Reiki. Level 2 allows the therapist to practice Reiki professionally.

A Certificate of Reiki Level 1 will be awarded at the end of the day.

REIKI SECOND DEGREE

Anyone who has Reiki First Degree is welcome to be attuned to Second Degree.
On this day we will:

Answer any questions regarding Reiki 1
Discussion of experiences using Reiki 1
The symbols for Reiki 2 will be explained and practiced
Practical exercises using Reiki will be carried out for you to gain confidence with your Reiki

Cost £90.00 This includes the workbook.
A Certificate of Reiki Level 2 will be awarded on completion. This certificate is recognised by the Complementary Medicine Association. You will be able to become a member of the CMA and attain insurance to practice professionally.

REIKI MASTERS DAY

This is for people who already have up to Reiki Second Degree and feel they are ready for their Masters. I suggest about a year or more experience of working with Reiki Second Degree. You must also feel that you are personally ready and have the desire to take the Masters.
On this day we will: discuss any problems you have had since using Reiki Second Degree.
